Born in Dean Chapter, February 23, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Daniel C. and Rosa (Rose) Forbes. Jean was a home maker, mother and partner in the family farm. Surviving are her children, Elizabeth (Walter), Ruth (Aubrey) and Arthur (Darlene); foster daughter, Paula; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Annie and Jackie; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James (2009); son-in-law, Allan Langille; sisters, Alice Ernst and Ethel Douglas; brothers, John and Winston. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday, August 31 and Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 1, both in Coulter's Funeral Home (902-657-3288) 48 Riverside Dr., Tatamagouche. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Denmark. Memorial donations to Willow Lodge or Forest Hill Cemetery would be appreciated.
