The ceremony was performed by their pastor, Rev. Mr. Burns, of Saltsprings. After hearty congratulations, a sumptuous supper was served to a large number of guests. Then music and dancing was engaged in, by those who felt inclined, for some time. The presents were numerous and very beautiful, testifying to the good wishes of the friends of both bride and groom. They went on a trip to Halifax, taking in the exhibition. The bride's going away dress was of blue broadcloth with cream corded silk trimmings with blue felt hat and large white plume. We wish the genial Billie and his fair young bride a long and happy wedded life. May their matrimonial sky remain forever unclouded. The outside guests who came to attend the nuptials were Mrs. Della McLean, Mrs. Leonard Stewart and .... Sources Nova Scotia Deaths: Book 44 Pg. 179 #669 Images William H. White
