Born in Kildaire, P.E.I., she was a daughter of the late George and Mizie Mae (Simmons) Duggan. She was a long-time resident of Malagash and a member of South Shore United Church, Malagash. She was a loving and considerate mother to her family as well as to Sim's family. Surviving are daughters, Jean Halverson, West Pugwash; Loretta Halverson, Tatamagouche; Wilma Langille and husband Carman, West Pugwash; son, Sheldon, Dunville, Ont.; brother, Ralph Duggan and wife Doris, Elmsdale, P.E.I.; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren ; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Patrick MacIntyre; second husband, Simpson Langille; daughter, Muriel; two sons in infancy; grandchildren, Boyd and Perry; brothers, Hudson and Roy; sisters, Margaret, Edith and Jane. Funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. in South Shore United Church, Malagash, Rev. Joseph Wynne officiating. Burial will follow in South Shore United Cemetery.
