He was 72. Mr. Teed was born at Bayshead, Colchester County, son of the late William and Elizabeth (Langille) Teed. He had formerly been employed at the Malagash Salt Mines, retiring some years ago. He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Snell of Springhill; two sons, James, Westville; Donald in Ontario; six daughters, Marjorie, Kathleen, Cora and Geneva, all in Ontario; Lona and Diane, attending school in Malagash; one brother, Ruben, Pictou; two sisters, Mrs. Reid and Lucinda (Mrs. Robert MacAloney), Halifax. A son, Leonard, predeceased him. The remains are resting at the MacLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Service will be held from Bayshead United Church Sunday afternoon.
