  • Obituary: The Pictou Advocate, Wednesday, June 29, 1988 - Funeral service for the late Adam C. Langille, 91, who passed away June 16 at the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, was held Saturday, June 25 from Middleton Union Church, Rev. Edgar Dewar and Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Born in Denmark, he was the son of the late Nathaniel and Martha Ann (Campbell) Langille. He was a member and senior elder of Middleton Union Presbyterian Church and a member of the choir. He was also a member of Liberty Oddfellows Lodge, Tatamagouche, N.S. He was a farmer and carpenter and he enjoyed building cottages and took great pride in his work. He is survived by his wife, the former Hilda Giles; a daughter, Ruth (Mrs Arthur Weatherby), Bible Hill; three sons, Kenneth and Allan, Denmark, N.S.; Donald, Salmon River; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren ; one sister, Mrs R.H. Langille, Longview, Wash.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Jack, Victor and Gordon. The body was cremated. Burial took place at Forest Hill Cemetery, Denmark.
