He was a member of Parkdale Emmanuel Baptist Church and Maple Lodge #155 IOOF. Surviving besides his wife, the former Joyce Rafuse are three sons, Brian, Scarsdale; Philip and Gordon, both at home; two daughters, Judith (Mrs. James Flemming), Caledonia; Kathy, at home; a brother, Carl, Maplewood; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Taylor and Laura (Mrs. Leroy Webber), both of Barss Corner and a granddaughter. Funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Parkdale Emmanuel Baptist Church, Rev. Ernest Crosby officiating. Burial will be in Parkdale Cemetery.
