  • Obituary: MANNING, Mary Kathleen - 94, of Windsor, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on December 14, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Wardlu and Florence (Martin) Bauchman.Mary was educated at Falmouth School, and the Windsor Academy. Mary was known for her beauty and exquisite style. A wonderful home maker and hostess, Mary supported her husband, Randy, throughout his long and distinguished career as a Chartered Accountant in Charlottetown, P.E.I. She was a woman of intelligence and great wit, which she kept right up to her final hours. Mary is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Christopher Allworth; her devoted brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Helen Bauchman; her three dear grandsons, Dennis (Tracy-Anne), Neal, and Martin, and their mother Pat Manning; great-grandchildren, Terence and Frances; nieces Bronwyn and Michelle (Mike); nephews, Roy, Craig (Michelle) and Andrew (Natalie). Also her best friends, Dorothy and Shirley Spencer.The family would like to express to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of the Hants Community Hospital, their appreciation for the wonderful and attentive care given to Mary in her final two and a half months. Special thanks also to Rev. Jeff White for his visits.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (Lohnes-DeMont Funeral Service Ltd.), 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), There will be no visitation at the family's request. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, October 15, in the DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jeffrey G. White officiating. A reception will be held in the funeral home's Elmcroft Reception Centre, followed by the interment in Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Town Road, Falmouth. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Windsor United Baptist Church, Hants Community Hospital, or any charity that helps feed hungry children.
