Norman A. "Doc" Levinson, 74, of Haines City, FL, beloved husband of Katherine (Riedell) Levinson, died July 19, 2007, in Osterville, MA. Born in North Dighton, MA he was the son of the late Henry and Hazel Levinson. He was a 1950 graduate of Barnstable High School, a 1952 graduate of Hebron Academy and a graduate of the Bangor Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1960, serving churches in Maine, Massachusetts, California, Connecticut and Florida. He also worked as a bereavement counselor at the Institute of Living in Hartford, and as a chaplain for the VNA Hospice of Connecticut. In his retirement, he worked as a cast member at Walt Disney World. He was a member of the Sequin Masonic Lodge 140 of Newington, and a chaplain for the Scottish Rite. He loved kung fu and tai chi. Besides his wife of 52 years, he leaves a daughter, Kathy S. Post and her husband, Robert, of Newington; and two sons, Thor E. Levinson and his wife, Linda, of Newington; and Gregg S. Levinson and his wife, Karoline, of Cromwell; and seven grandchildren. Burial was at the convenience of the family.
