Beloved wife of the late Dr. Gerald Borden Nichols. Mother of Judith Ann of Lethbridge, Alta., and the late Baby Douglas (1950). Sister of the late Emery Hyson of Indian Point. She was predeceased by her parents, David and Ida Hyson of Indian Point. Marjorie graduated in nursing from the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax following which she served at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal. She married Gerald in 1945 and together they moved to Toronto in 1946. Marjorie was a member of the Registered Nurses Association of Canada, The Women's Canadian Club, and active in Mount Dennis United Church. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W. (two stoplights west of Yonge St.), Toronto, on Saturday, December 10, at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place in Nova Scotia in the spring of 2006.
