Born in Folly Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Forrester and Stella (Totten) Slack. Anna is survived by her daughter, Peggy Cameron; granddaughter Kim (Mike) Cameron-Sweeney; great-grandson Liam; son James L. (Betty); former daughter-in-law Heather Barnhill; grandson James R. (Peggie); great-grandsons, Kolton and Joshua; granddaughter Marie (Robert) Naugler; great-grandchildren Braedon and Emily; granddaughter Nancy (David) Slack; great-grandsons Jacob, Trenton, Daniel and Russell; step-granddaughter Corinna (Mark) Lowe; step-great-grandchildren Jarred, Katherine and Nicholas; step-grandson Kevin (Leah) Kincaid; sister Fran Forman; brother Lloyd Slack; sister-in-law Jean Slack; brother-in-law Jack Nissan; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Lewis; sister-in-law Gertrude Barnhill; son-in-law Ken Cameron; brother Joe Slack; sister Lois Nissan; sister-in-law Dorothy Slack; brother-in-law Paul Forman. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21st from 7-9pm, with funeral service on Thursday, March 22nd at 2pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro, with Pastor Henry Boehm officiating.
