Sullivan, Sr, of Wells and formerly of Billerica, Massachusetts, son of the late Walter and Ruth (Currier) Sullivan of Billerica passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at his home following a long illness. Mr. Sullivan was educated in Billerica schools, graduating from Howe High School in Billerica and had recently attended his 65th class reunion. He had been married to Mary Gibbons who passed away February 22, 2005. Mr. Sullivan had been employed at Raytheon Corp. for 41 years, retiring over 20 years ago. He was a member of the Moody Beach Association, was a Senior Center volunteer and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He also enjoyed wintering in Florida and cooking for the residents club there. Mr. Sullivan was preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy Rogers and Eleanor Davidson and his brother, Paul Sullivan. Charlie is survived by his wife Nancy Sullivan of Wells, his children, Arlene Brown and her husband Jim of Maryland, Ann Marie Stotz and her husband Kevin of Lowell, MA, LuAnn Sullivan and her partner Sandra Loftus of West Boylston, MA, Charles Sullivan, Jr. of Scarborough, Maine, Stephen Sullivan and his wife JoAnn of Pickerington, Ohio, David Woods and his wife Nancy Krolewski of Groton, MA and Lorraine Smith of South Portland. He was a loving grandfather to Jaime, Justin, Jennifer, Amanda, Laura, Amy, Caitlin, Conor, Cara, Jake, Chase, George and Henry and great grandfather to Erin, Jaime, Ezekiel, and Declan He is survived also by his siblings, Patricia Pickett and her husband Gil of Tewksbury, Ma. Barbara McCaffrey of Billerica Ma, Tom Sullivan and his wife Carolyn of Wells, Me. and Bill Sullivan and his wife Trudy of Brookline, NH. There will be no visiting hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26 at St. Mary's Church in Wells. Burial will be in Ocean View Cemetery in Wells. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
