Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Reta (Thomas) Sawlor and the late Lester Rawding. David was a machine operator and long distance trucker for many years and always had a dog as his favorite companion. David enjoyed fishing, drives to the shore and was an active member of the "Tim Horton's Morning Club, Berwick". David is survived by son, Leslie (Cindy) Rawding, Black Rock; daughter, Angela Rawding, Halls Harbour; granddaughters, Danielle (Chad) Rawding, Fort McMurray and Alysia Rawding, Harmony; sisters, Beverly, Somerset, Heather, Kingston; brother Kim, Weston; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents David was predeceased by son, Michael Rawding; granddaughter Ashley Dawne Rawding. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Berwick Cemetery.
