Born in Halifax, he was the eldest son of Helen Langille-Martin, Eastern Passage, and the late Hurley E. Langille. Robert was a loving son and brother, and an avid baseball fan. He worked for many years at Tim Horton's and was a familiar face for coffee each day. Rob will be sadly missed by his mother, Helen, Eastern Passage; brothers, Rick, Enfield; Randy, Binghamton, N.Y.; Roger, Charlotte, N.C.; and many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his dad in 1998. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 18, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, at 2 p.m., David Romkey officiating, with a reception to follow. Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alcare Place, 1374 Robie St., Halifax or charity of choice.
