  • Obituary: Austin American-Statesman (TX) - Monday, August 6, 2001 Mildred Gregg Wendlandt passed away at home on Saturday, August 4, 2001. Her family was at her side. Her husband, Ted Wendlandt, preceded her in death. She was a long time member of St. David's Episcopal Church. In addition to belonging to a number of organizations, she supported and worked for many charitable groups. Mildred is survived by two brothers, Steve R. Gregg, Sr. of San Marcos, Texas, and Newton Dewitt Gregg of Titusville, Florida; a sister, Mary Lou Kelly, of Fort Worth, Texas; a niece, Linda Gregg Fields, of Houston, Texas; two nephews, Steve R. Gregg, Jr. of Houston, Texas, and Alex Gregg of Austin, Texas; and numeorus other nieces and nephews. Funeral Services are at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 6, 2001, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, with The Reverend Jim Bethell officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Seton Fund, The Settlement Home, or the charity of your choice. Arrangements by Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar, 452-8811.
