  • Obituary: HENDERSON, Scott Bradley Age 60 of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Carol (Dalrymple) Henderson of Berwick, and the late Bradley Henderson. Scott was employed for many years with Brown's Auto Salvage and prior to that he was a foreman at R.L. Hanson Construction Ltd. in Iqaluit, Nunavut. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 98 in Kingston. Scott was a 'Jack of all trades', who enjoyed dancing and playing pool. In his earlier years, he was an avid dart player. Scott will be sadly missed by his mother, Carol; his spouse, Vivian Smith; daughter, Kerri Henderson of Greenwood; son, Christopher Henderson of Iqaluit; sisters, Cheryl Brown of Wilmot; Kelly (Dwayne) Charlton of Aylesford; and Lisa (Wally) Bennett of Halifax; grandchildren, Alannah Whynott, A.J. Henderson, Austin Henderson, Daniel Brown, Sydney Brown and Emma Brown; brother-in-law, Tim Brown of Melvern Square; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In keeping with Scott's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Royal Canadian Legion Tribute will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 30th in Kingston Legion No. 98, 1472 Veteran's Lane, Kingston. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Donations in Scott's memory may be made to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 98.
