  • Obituary: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and brother on February 2, 2017, at the age of 63. He was a son of the late Clarence and Margaret (McDonald) Dalrymple. He is survived by his sons, David and Andrew; his brothers, Edward (Amie), Ronald (Lynne), Ross, Bruce (Carol), and Stan (Dana); his sisters, Catherine (Jack) MacIsaac, Pauline (Rick) Welner, Nancy (Ronald) McLeod, Janet (Don) Evans, Shirley (Leo) Bradley, Mary Ellen (Steve) Williams, and Patricia (Ted) Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. He is lovingly remembered by Marlene and Thersa. Reg was a pharmacist who served communities all across Nova Scotia, lastly at Mount Uniacke Pharmacy. Reg was recognized as Member of the Year by the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia in 2002. In addition to sponsoring baseball and hockey teams in Mount Uniacke, Reg volunteered his time to Uniacke Wish Givers, for which he was awarded the East Hants Corporate Volunteer of the Year in 2006. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to TK Barnard Funeral Home, 85 Sackville Cross Rd., Lower Sackville. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 7, 6-8 p.m. in TK Barnard Funeral Home. The funeral will be held in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Mount Uniacke on Wednesday, February 8, at noon, followed by a burial in Oakridge Cemetery in Middle Sackville.
