Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late David and Florence Bonang. Kay will always be remembered for her love of cards. Her friends always knew to come with change in their pockets for a friendly game. Kay always loved her music and was known to be the life of any party. She is survived by daughters, Caroline Ross, Dartmouth; Marie (Patrick) McKenna, Dartmouth; Barbara (Paul) Keizer, Centreville; son, Wayne (Darlene) Ross, Musquodoboit Harbour; grandchildren, Michele Adams, Carey Baek, David McKenna, Shawn Keizer, Gregory Robertson, Kristin Ross, Alisha Keizer, Cory Ross; great-grandchildren, Richard, Monica, Nicolas, Christopher, Zoe, Chloe, Ethan, Jayden, Mia, Bonita and Makaylah; brother, Gerald Bonang and sister, Beatrice Cooper. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Ross; sisters, Lillian and Marjorie; brothers, Ralph, Wallace "Sub", Clifford, Aubrey, Joe and Bernard. The family would like to offer sincere thanks to the staff of the Transitional Care Unit of Dartmouth General Hospital for their care and support.
