Born January 11, 1928, he was a son of the late Wallace Burton and Maggie Jane (Logan) Myers and he was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Eugene worked for L.E. Shaw Ltd., Lantz, for 32 years. He is survived by his wife, Blanche (Dalrymple) of 62 years; sons, Kirk (Carolyn), Keith (Shirley); daughters, Helen Ryan (Larry), Jane Isenor (Barry); grandchildren, Bernadette Ryan (Jim), Kirk Ryan (Amanda), Dana Ryan, Kirby Myers (Skye), Adena (Mark) Wilson, Matt Myers (Shannon), Craig Isenor (Dawn), Stephanie Isenor; great-granddaughter, Drew Ryan; sisters-in-law, Margaret Myers, Ruby Myers; brother-in-law, George Roberts; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Gladys Hines, Margaret Roberts; brothers, Ira Myers, Harvey Myers, and twin sisters in infancy. Arrangements entrusted to Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Cremation has taken place, no visitation or service at the request of the deceased. Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
