He is survived by his wife, the former Bernadette James; two stepdaughters, Judy (Mrs. Terry Davison), Lake Echo; Darlene (Mrs. Joseph Babineau), Halifax; four stepsons, Bob, David, both of Datmouth; Bill, Sackville, Len, Alberta; brother, David, Lantz; two sisters, Blanche (Mrs. Eugene Myers), Lantz; Evelyn (Mrs. Bruce Wall), Ontario; 11 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence; two sisters, Joan, Lorna Hardy. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John's Anglican Church, Westphal, Rev. Jodie Clark officiating. Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Milford. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Palliative Care Unit of the Halifax Infirmary of VON, Dartmouth Branch.
