Obituary: Truro- Mrs Dorothy Lillian Bell, wife of Walter Bell, died Monday at Colchester County Regional Hospital. She had been in failing health for a number of years.
She was born in Milford, Hants Co., and resided in Truro for past 18 years, where her husband operates the Rainbow Motel on Prince Street.
She was a member of Truro Lionesses and an adherent of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter Sandra and son Gregory, both at home; her parents, Mr and Mrs Elmer Dalrymple, Windsor Junction; both grandmothers, Mrs John Dalrymple, Milford and Mrs Annie McIntosh, Admiral Rock, Hants Co., six brothers Alfred, Clarence, Harry, James and Douglas, all of Windsor Junction and Douglas with the Canadian Army at Camp Gage town, N.S. , three sisters Frances (Mrs Francis Lyn), Betty (Mrs Herbert Vaughan) Wellington; Jean (Mrs Clarence Osmond) Bedford.
The body is resting at the Kennedy Memorial Residence until Friday at 2 p.m. where funeral will be held with Rev. Eugene Thompson officiating. internment in Robie Street Memorial Chapel.
