He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 133, Enfield. He was an honorary life member of Wellington/ Fletchers Lake Fire Department. He worked with the Department of Fisheries until his retirement in 1982. He is survived by his wife, Elsie (Brimicombe) Fraser; daughters, Bonnie Hines and son in-law Kenneth, Grand Lake; Beverly Marriott and son-in-law Glenn, Wellington; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; brother, Braden, Truro; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Florence, Edith and Lula; brother, Harris.
