It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Flora with her family by her side. After 28 years and overcoming many obstacles along the way, including 18 years of kidney dialysis, she peacefully passed on March 30, 2009 in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born, December 29, 1946 in Tatamagouche, Flora was the granddaughter of the late Beldon and Grace (Moody) Joudrie of Tatamagouche. Flora was a beautiful seamstress making many wedding and prom dresses over the years and doing alterations for people. She loved to read, do puzzles and most of all, play bingo. Flora is survived by her husband of 44 years, Karl Wall; her daughters, Janet Wall and Melissa (Robin) Underwood; son, Blake (Tammie) Wall, all of Tatamagouche. Flora was a very proud and loving grandmother to her baby girls, Alex and Delani Underwood, and her little men, Emmitt and Keean Wall; sisters, Jean Mingo and Sadie (Hector) Tattrie, both of Tatamagouche; Marlene MacBurnie, Weymouth; Sandee (Brian) Parks, Alberta; brothers, Chris MacBurnie and David MacBurnie, both of Tatamagouche; special cousin, Emily Marynowski, Halifax; special Aunts, Phyllis Cameron and Jessie Laurie, both of Tatamagouche; many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by father and mother-in-law, Walter and Lillian Wall. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 in Coulter's Funeral Home (657-3288) 48 Riverside Dr., Tatamagouche, N.S. B0K 1V0, Rev. Donald Sutherland officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Tatamagouche Mountain Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations can be made to Kidney Foundation , or Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital.
