Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late Chester and Valentine M. (Rondelet) Joudrie. Jules was a fisherman for many years as well as working for the Department of Highways and a paving foreman for Warren Maritimes. He was a former member of helping Hand Lodge, IOOF, River John, loved working in his vegetable gardens and collecting junk which he did for many years and was well known for. He was an amazing dad with a loving and kind heart for his family and his animals and was very thankful for a good meal. Surviving are, his children, Teri, New Glasgow; Connie, Ontario; Joanne (Lloyd), River John; Sandra (John), River John; Wade (Lisa), River John; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; companion, Annie and her family. he was predeceased by his wife, Odessa Redmond. Cremation has taken place. a graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 29 in Hamilton Cemetery, River John. Family flowers only. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or SPCA.
