  • Obituary: STEVENS, John Lawson "Lollie" - 62, Spring Garden Road, Westville, formerly of Salem, Pictou Co., passed away Thursday, July 17, 2003, at his home. Born in Lovat, September 23, 1940, he was a son of the late Lewis and Jessie (Marshall) Stevens. He operated a sawmill in Salem for many years, and also worked at Trenton Works for 35 years until retirement. In his earlier years Lollie enjoyed flying and was a member of the Trenton Flying Club for several years. He is survived by his wife, Angeline (Kenny); daughters, Cathy Brannon (Philip), Bedford; Valerie Smith (Steve), Lower Sackville; Lisa Graham (Mark), Halifax; grandchildren, Kellsie andJenna Brannon; sisters, Rhoda MacKenzie (Farrell), Laggan; Audrey Wright (Calvin), Westville; brothers, Medford (Ann), Westville; Edward (Lenora), Salem; Bill (Wilena), Westville; Myles (Jean), White Hill. He was predeceased by sister, Ina Cameron. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Eagles Funeral Home, Westville . His funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in Eagles Funeral Home Chapel, Father Don Boudreau officiating. Burial will be in Holy NameCemetery.
