She was born in Portland on June 23, 1932, the daughter of Oliver and Helen (Corey) Davis. She attended Portland schools and after graduating high school ran a shop in Portland. She later married Brendan McSweeney and became a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband Brendan McSweeney, her parents, and her brother Donald A. Davis. She is survived by her sister-in-law; nephews; and three great-nieces. Services are private.
