Born on February 26, 1945, in Marlborough, Massachusetts, Carl had a zest for life and an infectious spirit. He was an adventurous soul, never one to shy away from a new experience. He enjoyed spending time with his children, participating in various activities, such as roller skating, camping, visits to Wells Beach Maine, going for motorcycle rides, and skiing in New Hampshire. Prominent memories were KFC picnics at Wayside Inn, and water fights in the kitchen (the best way to deep clean). Carl's sense of humor and playful manner will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. A generous and supportive father, Carl was the pillar of strength for his family. While working full time, he attended evening classes to earn his Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a testament to his dedication and perseverance. He served as a Navy Jet mechanic during the Vietnam Era, a role he carried out with courage and honor. Carl found solace and comfort in his faith. He was a faithful follower, and his belief guided him through the ups and downs of life. He was a beacon of light, shining in the lives of his beloved daughters, who were his greatest joy and accomplishment. Carl made countless friends, a man who lived life to the fullest, a true testament to his adventurous spirit. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and generosity, which left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Surviving Carl are his daughters, Terri Carter and Tammy Booth, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a sister, 2 nephews, 2 grandnephews, and 1 great-grandniece. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Brown. The words of scripture, "Well done, good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:21), echo as a fitting tribute to Carl, a man who lived his life with purpose, love, and faith.
