(Steward) Higgins of Abington, died Monday July 29, after a brief illness, age 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul F. Higgins. Mrs. Higgins was born in Quincy and lived most of her adult life in Abington. Edna worked until she was 70 years old at West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Edna is survived by one daughter, Marie Masaitis of Bridgewater; one son, Fred Higgins of East Bridgewater; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams St., Abington, Thursday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt.
