Read, of Leicester and the late Mrs. Read. The deceased was in her 29th year and had been in ill health for a lengthy period. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, of Amherst. She is survived by her husband, father, four sisters, (Florence) Mrs. Chapman Canning, of Diligent River; Rachel (Mrs. Desmond Willigar, of Parrsboro Roads; (Alice) Mrs. Percy Keeble, of Diligent River; and (Lillian) Mrs. Frank Matthews, of Amherst; and three brothers, Walter of Parrsboro; Everett, of East Amherst; and Edward, of Toronto; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Much sympathy is being extended to the members of the family in their great loss. The funeral was held at the home of her sister, Mrs. Chapman Canning on Tuesday afternoon with interment in the East Leicester Cemetery."
