  • Obituary: Jollimore, Laura Robina, 86, Bible Hill passed away peacefully on August 24, 2015 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro surrounded by her family. Born in Grosse Isle, Magdalen Islands, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Annie Clarke. Laura was an avid cook and homemaker who loved to entertain her friends and family. The teapot was always on the stove. She loved music and dancing and spent a lot of time talking to anyone who would listen. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and was very loyal to her friends. She was a special lady who will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Floyd; daughters, Annette (Dave) Baldwin, Caledon East, ON, Wanda (Blair), Bible Hill, Pamela (Tim), Orangeville, ON; grandchildren, David, Jeffrey, Derek, Ashley, Jennifer, Dustin; great-grandchildren, Travis, Layla, Avangeline, Brody, Blakelyn; sisters, Marion, Eileen, Kathleen; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by son, Frankie; sister, Linda and her best friend, Ethel Whidden. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will begin with a time of visitation from 1:00 pm until time of the service at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 28 in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Lori Ramsey officiating. Interment in Terrace Hill Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
