Her death was not unexpected for the deceased had been ill for some time. Mrs. Willigar was before her marriage, Miss Alice Desmond, daughter of the late Hannah and Richard Desmond. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband; three sons, Daniel, Desmond, and Gerald, all of Parrsboro Roads; also, two daughters, Beatrice (Mrs. Ralph Richards), Sydney; and Evelyn (Mrs. Rex Newcombe), of the Canadian West; and one brother, John, at home; the other two brothers, Capt. Daniel Desmond and Edward Desmond, predeceased her. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Capt. Thomas Antle, Mrs. Ernest Dryden, both of Parrsboro, and Mrs. George Pleshaw, of Framington, Mass. The deceased was a woman of sterling character and was very well known and regarded in this town where she enjoyed a large number of friends, who will deeply mourn her loss. The funeral was held from the home Thursday by Rev. C.R. Harris, with enterment at Parrsboro Roads. The pall-bearers were: C.A. Huntley, D.A. Lavers, J.W.
