Gail attended North Colchester High School, Mount Saint Vincent University and Saint Mary's University. She had a passion for archaeology and education, eventually turning that passion into a lifelong career in education, focussing on students with learning disabilities. Her patience, dedication and ability to allow her students to experience success has drawn many accolades from past students and colleagues. Gail used those qualities to help her grandchildren find joy in learning and have fun while spending quality time with Grammy. Gail took pride in allowing others to succeed and was very selfless and generous with her time. In retirement, Gail had a number of activities she enjoyed, including dinners and vacations with her 'Group of 8' friends, playing saxophone in the local band and going on long nature walks for exercise. Her favourite place to be was at her cottage on Periwinkle Beach, where she spent her summers and shared her personal 'Slice of Heaven' with friends, family, and everyone from 'The Lane'. Gail is survived by her sons, Timothy (Meaghan) of Burlington, ON and Jay (Eunessa) of Fort McMurray, AB, as well as her recently re-united daughter, Lisa Lamain (Ed) of Roblin, ON.
