Obituary: Coe, Hazel Dawn - Age 95 of Willow Lodge Home for Special Care, Tatamagouche, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2012. Born August 3, 1917 in Tatamagouche,
Hazel was the daughter of the late David and Jeanette (Stymest) Weatherby formerly of Barrachois, Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by her sister Catherine and her husband
Alvin Edward "Bob" Coe. During the Second World War, Hazel worked as a
Military driver in Halifax where she met and married Bob. Hazel will be lovingly
remembered by her daughters Janet Doherty (Charles), Dartmouth, Olivia (Blair) Raimondo, New Westminster, B.C. and son David (Gail) of Truro, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was a former member of the UCW in Tatamagouche and enjoyed working in her vegetable garden during her summers and spending her winters in Lakeland, Florida. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 2 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2013 in Coulter's Funeral Home (657-3288), Tatamagouche. Reception to follow service in the funeral home. Spring interment will be held in Barrachois Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Willow Lodge.
