Obituary: FRASER, William Tattrie "Bill" - His wife and family announce the passing of Bill Fraser on March 3, 2003, in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born July 22, 1919, he was a son of the late George and Jessie (Langille) Fraser (of Brule). Bill worked for the Department of Highways for 25 years, retiring in 1984. He was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy (Weatherbie); sisters, Ellen Hayman, Janie Donaldson, Kathleen "Kay" Cunningham and Edna MacLeod; brothers, Hughie, George and Henry. He is survived by his second wife of 12 years, Jean, Tatamagouche; daughter, Barbara (Joe) Velluso, Toronto; son, David (Cheryll), Tatamagouche; grandsons, Michael, Toronto; Dana, Tatamagouche; granddaughter, Vanessa, Tatamagouche; sisters, Annie Vincent, Tatamagouche; Lillian (Donald) Sutherland, Truro; brother, David, Hamilton, Ont.; sister-in-law, Aileen and brother-in-law, Malcolm MacLeod, both of Tatamagouche; stepchildren, Gloria Jean (Jimmy) Borowski, Hamilton; Ray (Karen) MacKinnon, Toronto. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to North Shore Health Services Foundation.
