Obituary: SOUTH BEND - Christine N. Rolfe, 65, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 in Sanctuary at Holy Cross.
Christine was born July 26, 1950 in Michigan City to the late Richard and Pansy (Brooks) Rehbein. Christine married her husband, Brian Rolfe, who preceded her in death on September 13, 2012 along with her sister, Dr. Kathyrn Bright on June 6, 2016.
Survivors include mom, Katherine R. Rehbein of Valparaiso, IN; sister, Beth Rehbein of Covington, GA; nephew, Samuel R. Bright of Redwood City, CA; lovingly received 3 sisters, Kathy (John) Franiak, Patti (John) Gildein and Julie (Eric) Hampton; uncles, Dale (Marge) Rehbein, John (Sue) Brooks, and Gil (Pat) Brooks; several nieces and nephews; and friend, Jane (Tom) Lano.
Christine was a member of Women's Aglow International and Christian Center Church. She was a retail manager at Value City Furniture. Christine enjoyed playing tennis, horseback riding and cross country skiing. Most of all, she loved cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Visitation for Christine will be 11 am to 12 pm EST, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Christian Center Church, 530 E. Ireland Rd., with a 12 pm EST Funeral Service at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
