Born in Pugwash, daughter of the late W. Webster and Katherine "Kay" (Halverson) Stevens. Joanne's life was fillled with the love of her family and the joy of her work at the Willow Lodge Home for Special Care where she worked as a PCW until illness bought her back into her home and the care of her family. Her final years took her back to her work family at the Willow Lodge where they loved and cared for her through her final days. Surviving is her husband, Keith Tattrie, Tatamagouche; daughter, Tanya (Rob) Kraft, Valley View, AB; son, Jeremy (Jacqueline) Tattrie, Wentworth; grandchildren; Kelsey and Christian, Ellie and Mason; great-granddaughter, Ashlynn; sisters, Darlene (Paul) Rider, Calgary; Norma, Hamilton; Elaine, Toronto; brother, Duane, Malagash. Joanne's large extended family including her step-mom and siblings, Bertha (Treen) Langille, Tatamagouche; Floyd (Diane) Langille, Bible Hill; Keith (Elaine) Langille, River John; Donald (Debbie) Langille, Malagash; Kathy (Tim) MacDonald, Malagash. Her husbands family, dad Gerald, sisters-in-law: Sylvia, Karen, Linda, and brothers-in law: Brian, Steven, Terry with their families. Many many nieces, nephews, great niece's and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, from 12 noon until the funeral service at 2 p.m. in Sharon United Church, Tatamagouche. Pastor Chuck Paterson and Rev. Morley Bentley officiating.
