Notes

  • Obituary: HARWICH \emdash Maureen M. Boudreau passed peacefully on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Born in Rome, N.Y., Maureen always referred to herself as a "military brat" as she traveled and lived in many places, Germany for one, with her family while growing up in the Air Force. Maureen graduated from Roy High School in Roy, Utah. Maureen moved to South Yarmouth in 1986. She married Glenn P. Boudreau in 1987, and moved to Harwich in 1990 where she lived with her family. Working as a bookkeeper for Kmart Corp. for many years, she later worked as a certified nurse's aide at many nursing homes throughout the Lower Cape until the onset of her illness. Maureen is survived by her husband of 21 years, Glenn P. Boudreau of Harwich; two loving children, daughter Brenna M. Boudreau, 18, of Harwich; and son and daughter-in-law Evan and Sally Boudreau, 26 and 25 respectively, of Plymouth; and mother Janice Minard and stepfather Robert Minard of Utah. She was predeceased by her father, Richard Myren, in 1995. Maureen is also survived by three sisters, Kathy Howley, Chris Cheney and Eileen Bodily, and a brother, Steven Myren, all of Utah; and many nieces and nephews. May we all "mind our Ps and Qs." Visiting hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth. A Christian funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at the St. Pius X Church, Station Avenue, South Yarmouth.
