Born in East Village, NS, he was the youngest son of the late Arthur and Alice (Slack) Johnson. Alden was a well known electrician in the surrounding area and was a former resident of Great Village and Truro before his retirement. Alden was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by sons, James of East Mines, Kelly (Karen) of Glenholme, Bryson of Stokholm, Sweden; grandchildren Sarah, Jeffrey Noah; sister-in-law Bertha Johnson (Late Ivan) of Londonderry; brother-in-law Robert Hughes of BC; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceasd by 3 sisters; 6 brothers; 2 nieces; 1 nephew. Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date in the Mahon Cemetery, Great Village. Donations in memory may be made to the Mahon Cemetery. Great Village.
