Born on July 12, 1931, in Waldegrave, he was a son of the late Ross and Catherine (Joudrie) Weatherbie. A man known for his many entrepreneurial endeavors and love for his horses. Milo was a good man who always helped anyone in need. His big heart and generosity touched the lives of many, especially during the holiday season. He liked a good debate and most of all he cared deeply for his family. Milo is survived by his loving wife, Jean (Underwood) Weatherbie; daughter, Donna Blagojevic (Frank), Wentworth; step-son, Robin Underwood (Melissa), Tatamagouche; sister, Willena Weatherbie Stiles, Fredericton, N.B.; grandchildren, Tracey McNaughton (Greg), Ottawa; Danny Blagojevic (Samantha), Malagash; Alex Underwood (Johannes), Saskatchewan and Delani Underwood,; great-grandsons, Thane Milo McNaughton and Tristan Blagojevic; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Earl, Alex, Charlie, Gerald and Sylvester in infancy; sisters, Alice, Christine, Lois; son-in-law, Gunther Blagojevic.There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, in Coulter's Funeral Home, 48 Riverside Drive, Tatamagouche (657-2388). Rev. Morley Bentley officiating. Family flowers only.
