Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late William and Vida (Willigar) Brayley. He was a fisherman and rural mail carrier. He is survived by his wife, the former Goldie Langille; two daughters, Diane Green, Manitoba; Shelly Deagle, Pictou; one step-daughter, Alta Sutherland, Scotch Hill; three step-sons, Lawrence and Brian, both of River John; Willis, Trenton; two sisters, Mrs. Mona Crossman, Parrsboro; Mrs. Jack Ripley, Amherst; one brother, Ralph, Parrsboro. He was predeceased by one sister, Phyllis. The body is in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. George's Presbyterian Church, River John, Rev.
