Born in Green Oaks, Colchester Co., on June 2, 1933, she was a daughter of the late William and Anne (Burris) Collins. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by daughter, Sherry (John Scott) Wright, B.C.; sons, John "Jack" (Wanda), Edwin (Louise), Scott (Anne), all of Beaverbrook, Robin (Evelyn), Hilden; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Herman) Crowe; brothers, Dawson (Colleen), Herbert (Frances), Russell (Nancy); several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Seymour; daughter, Belinda; son, Leland; sister, Edna. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 noon until time of the funeral service at 2:00pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Dan Gunn officiating. Interment in Old Barns Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the QE11, Intensive Care Unit or a charity of choice.
