Born in Parrsboro Roads, he was a son of the late Richard & Sarah [Henwood] Willigar. He worked the mines in Springhill and later was employed at the shipyard in Parrsboro. Surviving are his wife, the former Marian Krumrei; daughter, Mrs. Rose Howland, St. John, N.B., sons: Andrew, Paul, Greg of Parrsboro; Matthew, St. John; sister, Mrs. Clementine Mills of Parrsboro, 9 grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons: Larry, Elvis, sisters: Clara, Hazel, Mary & Sally brothers: Merle, Benjamin, Bernard, Corey, Edward and John. Smith Funeral Home, Parrsboro with burial in Parrsboro Roads Cemetery.
