'96 61, Parrsboro, died Saturday in South Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Parrsboro. Born in Eastern Passage, he was a son of the late Roland and Jennifer (Rector) Taylor. He was engineer with Canadian Coast Guard for 14 years and served with merchant marine during the Second World War. He is survived by his wife, the former Audrey Parker; a son, Gary, Parrsboro; three stepsons, Arthur, Michael, both of Parrsboro; Billy, St. John's, Nfld.; a brother, Hugh, Ottawa. He was predeceased by two brothers, Einer, Gordon; an infant sister. The body is in Smith Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral will be 2 p.m., today Rev. Fraser Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Parrsboro Presbyterian Cemetery. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.
