Born in Parrsboro Roads, she was the former Mary Vida Willigar, a daughter of the late Israel and Estella (Corkum) Willigar. Surviving are two daughters, Doreen (Mrs. Jack Ripley), Amherst; and Mrs. Mona Crossman, Parrsboro; two sons, Lester, River John; and Ralph, Parrsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Olga Shea, Parrsboro; and Mrs. Cora Fletcher, Montrose; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William and a daughter, Phyllis. The body is in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral in St. George's Anglican Church, Rev.
