A life long resident of Parrsboro, Mr. Willigar was a boat builder by trade. He was 78 years of age and had many friends who learned with regret of his passing. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, (Cora) Mrs. Gordon Fletcher of Bass River; (Veda) Mrs. William Brayley, of Parrsboro; and (Olga) Mrs. William Shea of Halifax. A son gave his life in the last World War. The funeral service was held from St. George's Anglican Church on Saturday afternoon with interment in the Anglican Cemetery."
