Married on 1974 Children CLARKE, Patrick CLARKE, Melissa Marie: July 11, 1974 Notes Death: Leukemia Obituary: Stephen Keith Clarke, 60, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 after a wearisome battle with leukemia. He was born on January 9th, 1951 in Tennessee. He served in the United States Navy until he met the woman who would become his faithful wife of 37 years. After serving his country, he worked as a technician. Following his retirement, he became a school bus driver. Steve was a dedicated family man. He loved sharing his quirky sense of humor with everyone, and he was constantly feeding his hunger for knowledge. He enjoyed exploring, camping and riding his motorcycle. Steve also loved music, especially playing his guitar and singing to praise God. Steve is survived by his wife, Bertha, his son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Stacey, his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Christopher, his grandchildren, Caleb, Allison, and Helena, and his siblings, Kenneth, Valerie, and Kelly. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 19th at 11:00 A.M. at Central Christian Church, 2002 West Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904.
