Born in Country Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Elsie (Hudson) Hines. Maisie loved her family, playing Bingo and cards; trips, with Clint, to stay in the trailer in Five Islands. She is survived by sons, Jackie (Glenda), New Glasgow; Clinton (Debbie), Country Harbour; daughters, Rhonda (Mike) McKeen, Aspen; Muriel Bibby, Brantford, Ont.; Yvonne Jones (Richie), Country Harbour; sisters, Verna Styger, Antigonish, Ethel (Scott) MacDonald, Newtown; brothers, Clancy (Helen) Hines, Brantford, Ont.; Walter (Jeanette) Hines, Country Harbour; Delbert Hines, Brantford, Ont., Gordon (Helen) Hines, Country Harbour; sister-in-law, Helen Hines, Brantford, Ont.; brother-in-law, Ellis Weir, Truro; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and their families; her friends, Madeline Fenton, Mary Fitzpatrick, Laurie Doxtater. Maisie was predeceased by her husband, Clinton; sisters, Cecelia (Graham) Kirk, Laurine "Tootsie" (Bobby) Cunningham; brother, Bruce Hines, sister-in-law, Eileen Hines; brother-in-law, John Styger. Visitation will be held in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Country Harbour on Monday from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Natasha Brubaker and Lewis MacIntosh officiating.
