Sewall. He went to be with his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline Sewall, in Heaven on November 15, 2021 at the age of 92. Ed was the youngest of his four siblings, Alice, Emma, Harold and Bob. He played the guitar and sang, and loved riding horses. He came West where his older brother Bob was and worked for local farmers. He participated in local rodeos and was drafted into the U. S. Army during the Korean War. After his service, he returned to Odessa where he me his wife Jacque and they were married there. Ed and his brother Bob had an excavation business for 8 years. Later, he moved to a cattle ranch on Crab Creek where he raised cattle and had a horse. He participated in the 300 mile Cattlemen's Ride every year for 15 years. Ed went to work for Odessa Union Warehouse in the office in Harrington, after moving to town from the farm. He continued working for Odessa Union and retired from there as a manager. He was active in the community, serving on the School Board, City Council and belonging to Lions Club, as well as helping to build and belonging to the Harrington Golf Course. After retiring, Ed and Jacque moved to Seven Bays where he continued to enjoy fishing, gardening and playing bluegrass with friends. They became "snow birds" spending winters in Arizona, and traveling to Bluegrass festivals. Due to Jacque's health, they moved back to Harrington and after her passing, Ed continued to live there for 14 more years. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and a daughter-in-law. He leaves a son and two daughters, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A family memorial service was held at the Memorial Hall in Harrington and at the Hillcrest Cemetery.
