He was an avid square dancer and was a supporter of the 4H program. He was a member of Aylesford United Church and an adherent of Berwick and Woodville Baptist churches. Surviving are his wife, the former Jean Illsley; daughter, Mary; son, Allison; brothers, John (Jack), Islington, Ont.; James, Fergus, Ont.; Douglas, North Kentville. He was predeceased by brother, Howard. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick. Funeral 3 p.m. Monday in Berwick Baptist Church, Rev. Elias Mutale and Lic. Shawn Kehoe officiating. Burial in Berwick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society, Berwick Baptist Church or Woodville United Baptist Church.
