  • Obituary: HILL, Carol Mae (née Magee): Of Penticton, British Columbia, passed away suddenly on September 21, 2018, at the age of 67, with her mother and sisters by her side. She was born to parents May and Morris Magee, April 25, 1951 in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Carol graduated from Steveston High School, and was a passionate lifelong learner. Carol was a vibrant, vivacious, hilarious person, who was quick to strike up a conversation with anyone around her. She loved to laugh, tell jokes, and talk to everyone. She was a lifelong fan of the Vancouver Canucks and would often be heard loudly cheering them on. Her work in the conservation department was very rewarding, and she will be dearly missed by her "C.O. Boys". Carol was an avid gardener who boasted of her beautiful roses, and delicious tomatoes that she would share with those around her. She was a wonderful, loving mother who was immensely proud of her children. Carol is survived by her sons Greg, and Grant (Scott), her siblings Colleen, Karen, and Don, her mother May, and her many loving nieces, nephews, family members, and close friends. She is predeceased by her father Morris, her brother Earl, her niece Michelle and nephew David. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 29th, from 2pm to 5pm at the Sandbridge Clubhouse, 3333 South Main Street, Penticton, BC.
