He seemed to be in his usual good health during the day, and at eight he went to the barn to do his chores, and upon not coming in, his wife went out and found him lying unconscious on the ground. He was carried to the house dying a few hours later, never having rallied. Apoplexy was the cause of death. His wife was a Miss Bent of Weston. Two sons, G.R. and O.H. also survive him. His death has caused quite a blow to the community. The funeral was on Wednesday afternoon at the Morristown cemetery. Rev. Mr. Wallace of Aylesford conducted the service.
